About the Matlock Open Meet

The Matlock Open meet is the clubs' yearly event held in September, held at the Arc Leisure Centre which boasts an eight lane, 25m pool with state of the art electronic timing. This is for those aged 9 years and above with prizes for 1st to 6th position in each specific age category. The races range from 50m, 100m and 200m.

We welcome all clubs, from any area and encourage new teams to the event each year, it’s a great early season event to get some race experience and early season PB’s. We encourage first timers and experienced performers to the open meet. It is always a friendly environment, and always plenty of help on poolside to ensure a smooth day for everyone involved. All events are conducted in line with the ASA rules and regulations and the Open meet is graded as a Level 3. Times and results will be posted on the day.
